CyberHub Slovenia organises Autumn Cyber School for High School students

The Autumn Cyber School, organised as part of CyberHub Slovenia activities, took place from 27 to 29 October 2025 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor (UM FERI). During the three-day workshop on Applied Information Security, secondary school students explored how to stay safe and confident in the digital world.
Throughout the programme, participants learned about protecting personal data, creating strong passwords, recognising online scams and approaching challenges with the mindset of ethical hackers. Through practical exercises and real-world scenarios, they strengthened their understanding of digital threats and the steps needed to mitigate them.
The workshop was delivered by experts from the CyberSec Lab at UM FERI, members of the FERI HackClub and invited industry practitioners, in cooperation with CyberHub Slovenia. The Autumn Cyber School played an important role in encouraging young people to develop cybersecurity awareness and skills that will support them in an increasingly digital future.
