What is the most pressing cybersecurity challenge in your country or region today?
The main challenge currently facing Spain is the shortage of cybersecurity professionals, particularly in the public sector and among small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the lack of professionals with soft skills needed for the management and analysis of cybersecurity at the operational and strategic levels.
How does your CyberHub help address this challenge?
Through our CyberHub, we are strengthening public-private partnerships to bridge gaps and raising awareness of cybersecurity issues to address the need for skilled personnel and training in the field of cybersecurity in Spain.
What concrete value or impact has the CyberHub generated so far in your country?
The impact of our CyberHub is, as mentioned, the strengthening of cooperation and support among sectors, where we have seen strong, clear communication aimed at addressing problems and needs across sectors and organizations. In another way the situational awareness of cyberspace and cybersecurity has been rising to a good level.
Why should other countries establish CyberHubs?
Because bridging the gaps between sectors, establishing these communication channels, and working together provides a clearer picture of cybersecurity, leading to better results in terms of protection and defenses, as well as strengthening human talent and resilience.
Why should people attend the European Cybersecurity Fest 2026 in Vilnius?
To establish cooperative and communication ties with CyberHubs, as well as to gather ideas for strategies and plans to strengthen cybersecurity based on existing best practices….
