CyberHubs Testimonials – Belgium

CyberHubs is connecting education, industry and public organisations at national level around one shared mission: developing cybersecurity skills aligned with job and learning opportunities to overcome the shortage of cybersecurity professionals at European level. Listen from each country, how the CyberHub model helped them tackle their specific cybersecurity challenges. Want to hear more? Join us at the European Cybersecurity Fest in Vilnius, Lithuania or online on 14 October to get more real-life insights and to build collaborations with other cybersecurity stakeholders from across Europe.
What is the most pressing cybersecurity challenge in your country or region today?
Belgium’s biggest cybersecurity challenge is not one specific threat, but the structural gap between the scale of modern cyberattacks (continuous, data-driven, ecosystem-wide) and the available capabilities (skills, awareness, and organisational maturity) to respond effectively.
How does your CyberHub help address this challenge?
CyberHub Belgium tackles this gap by connecting industry, education and policy into one ecosystem. Through CMiB4Talent, a subset of the AGORIA cyber business group Cyber Made in Belgium, we attract, train and upskill cyber talents, align skills with market needs, and enable hands on collaboration. This strengthens capabilities, accelerates knowledge sharing, and increases resilience across Belgian organisations.
What concrete value or impact has the CyberHub generated so far in your country?
CyberHub Belgium has already created tangible ecosystem impact by connecting over 150 companies, 35+ education providers and public stakeholders, enabling coordinated action on cyber skills. It has launched joint initiatives to attract, train and upskill talents, aligned curricula with market needs, and structured collaboration through CMiB4Talent to reduce the cybersecurity skills gap, reaching over unique 340 participants.
Why should other countries establish CyberHubs?
Establishing a CyberHub enables countries to scale impact faster by connecting into a European ecosystem. As part of the network, members access EU level collaboration, knowledge sharing, best practices and joint initiatives, while increasing visibility and shaping future skills strategies, turning national efforts into coordinated, cross-border impact on cybersecurity talent and resilience.
Why should people attend the European Cybersecurity Fest 2026 in Vilnius?
Join us at the European Cybersecurity Fest 2026 to connect with leading cybersecurity stakeholders from across Europe and gain practical insights on closing the skills gap. Through interactive sessions, real-life use cases and networking, you’ll discover how to scale national initiatives into European impact and strengthen collaboration between industry, education and policymakers.
