CyberHub Slovenia: Cyber Night 2025

The “Cyber Night 2025” event took place on 24 October 2025 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, bringing together more than 130 participants – from secondary school students and university learners to professionals working in the cybersecurity field. The event demonstrated how combining theory with practice can effectively support the development of future cybersecurity talent.

As part of the opening programme, the CyberHubs project was introduced, including the establishment of CyberHub Slovenia, which supports the growth of cybersecurity knowledge and skills in Slovenia.

Participants competed in Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges featuring realistic scenarios inspired by banking environments and smart-home systems. A parallel beginner workshop offered an accessible introduction to digital forensics, cryptography and system protection, making the event valuable for both newcomers and those with more experience.

CyberHub Slovenia is proud to support initiatives like Cyber Night, which foster skill development, knowledge sharing and collaboration between the education sector, industry and public institutions. The event continues to contribute to a stronger and more resilient cybersecurity community in Slovenia.
