From Inflow to Progression: The Next Challenge for Cybersecurity Talent

Belgium has been struggling with a shortage of cybersecurity professionals for years. Non-formal training programmes are playing an increasingly important role in helping new talent enter cybersecurity careers quickly. But as the talent pipeline grows, the challenge is shifting.

In a new analysis, CyberHub Belgium explores how today’s training offer aligns with labour market needs, where the key friction points lie, and what actions are needed to strengthen Belgium’s cybersecurity talent pipeline.

The report “Non-Formal Cybersecurity Training in Belgium” shows that it is more relevant to look at the alignment between education and the labor market. It was conducted on behalf of Agoria – Cyber Made in Belgium 4 Talent and CyberHubs Belgium as a field project by students of the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management and further processed by Agoria.
