UM FERI and CyberHub Slovenia organised a “Certified Ethical Hacker” WInter School 2026

Between 16 and 18 February 2026, the Institute of Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics (UM FERI), in collaboration with CyberHub Slovenia, organised an intensive winter school aimed at preparing participants for the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exam, one of the most widely recognised certifications in cybersecurity.
Over the course of three days, 20 participants explored the key CEH topics and tested their knowledge through sample questions and a mock exam. The programme was led by certified CEH experts Nika Jeršič and Patrik Rek.
A central component of the training was the mock exam, designed to simulate the official CEH certification test. The results demonstrated a strong level of preparedness, with 12 participants achieving scores above the passing threshold. Top-performing participants will be awarded vouchers to take the official CEH exam, supporting their continued professional development in cybersecurity.
