CyberHub Slovenia hosted twinning programme to strengthen collaboration in cybersecurity

On Wednesday, 19 March 2025, CyberHub Slovenia organised the Twinning Programme, a key initiative within the CyberHubs project. This event fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange among Slovenia’s cybersecurity stakeholders, reinforcing efforts to build a stronger, more interconnected cybersecurity ecosystem.

The session brought together key organisations, each presenting their activities, roles, and visions for advancing cybersecurity:

  • NCC-SI (National Cyber Security Centre of Slovenia), part of the Government Information Security Office, provided insights into national cybersecurity strategies, regulatory efforts, and cooperation with European partners to bolster cybersecurity resilience.
  • Women4Cyber Slovenia showcased initiatives aimed at increasing diversity and inclusion in the cybersecurity field while highlighting engagement with broader European networks to empower women in tech.
  • The Cybersecurity Section of the ICT Association of Slovenia, within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS), emphasised the importance of bridging industry, government, and experts to facilitate knowledge-sharing and drive cybersecurity workforce development.

The event concluded with an insightful panel discussion, where participants explored ways to strengthen collaboration at national and international levels. The discussion underscored the complementary nature of their efforts and the collective goal of creating a more secure and resilient digital future.

With initiatives like the Twinning Programme, CyberHubs continues to foster meaningful connections and accelerate progress in cybersecurity skills development across Europe.
