CyberHubs twinning visit strengthens cross-border cybersecurity collaboration

On May 27–28, the CyberHub Estonia hosted a successful twinning visit in Tallinn, welcoming CyberHubs project delegations from Belgium, Hungary, Slovenia, and Spain. The two-day event fostered meaningful dialogue and exchange of best practices in cybersecurity education, strategy, and collaboration across Europe.
The visit began with an in-depth session on Estonia’s cybersecurity education landscape, led by Birgy Lorenz from TalTech, followed by informal networking and a collaborative cybersecurity game to encourage knowledge-sharing and connection-building.
Day 2 featured a visit to the e-Estonia Briefing Centre, where Johanna-Kadri Kuusk provided an insightful overview of Estonia’s digital infrastructure and governance model. Participants then convened at the ITL office to discuss current challenges and strategic priorities in their respective countries, joined by CyberTech Cluster members Anett Numa (Neverhack) and Markus Münzer (RiskSight). The day concluded with a visit to CR14, where Martin Hanson introduced participants to the world of cyber ranges and national-level cyber defence exercises.
This twinning visit highlighted the value of cross-border collaboration in strengthening Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem and served as a platform for mutual learning, networking, and future partnership development.
